My Story
Weati is an eclectic, systems-oriented therapist grounded in Bowen theory who believes that because everyone comes from a family, even individual therapy clients benefit deeply from looking at the bigger picture when appropriate. A Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey and a graduate of Barry University’s CACREP-accredited M.S. program specializing in marital, couple, and family counseling, Weati is currently furthering her expertise in Barry’s Ph.D. in Counseling program.
Embracing an integrative, authentic approach, Weati blends individual and relational frameworks with Narrative Therapy, EFT, CBT/DBT, and somatic and psychoanalytically informed interventions, tailoring the work to each client rather than forcing them into a mold. Supported by ongoing supervision and professional development, she helps clients process complex trauma, emotional dysregulation, attachment disruptions, relational conflict, and individual and/or family-system stressors. Whether navigating personal patterns or transforming shared dynamics, she helps clients explore how their stories, nervous systems, and relational roots shape their world to untangle what keeps them stuck.
Approaching care with structure and warmth, Weati strives to help clients feel grounded in the therapeutic relationship, believing that trust and meaningful connection are central to the healing process.
