We aim to connect individual clients with therapists who can address their needs, covering clinical, cultural, and communication style preferences.

Our clinicians are Certified Clinical Trauma Professionals with training and experience treating single incident trauma, complex trauma, developmental trauma, relational trauma, and other life experiences leaving a lasting traumatic impact. We believe that each person’s journey through healing is unique and we will honor a shared process of healing that reflects individual needs within a safe and responsive therapeutic relationship.

All relationships experience challenges, but sometimes, we fall into painful patterns or feel off, and we might not know how to change. In our approach, we treat the relationship in couples therapy and work together to achieve your couple’s goals. Our therapists do not take sides; instead, we focus solely on the relationship dynamics rather than on individual people. 

At times, families might need to adapt and restructure their interactions with each other. Therapists can help families clarify roles and expectations, set healthy boundaries, and improve communication, even amid conflict.

Sand tray therapy and play therapy, combined with behavioral modification, CBT, and DBT tools, can help children overcome challenges and develop skills for success throughout their lives.

Young people often face competing demands on their time and energy, balancing school and home, academics, and social activities. Additionally, certain clinical diagnoses and developmental delays can complicate therapy. We aim to work collaboratively with parents, schools, and others in the adolescent's environment to establish and achieve their goals.

Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) is considered the gold standard in screening for autism in adults and children as young as 2 and a half years old. Early screening can help you or your child connect with the right services for success.

Meet with our Advanced Nurse Practitioner to determine if medication is right for you. Prescriptions can be sent directly to your pharmacy.

ADD/ADHD testing is beneficial because it provides a clear understanding of how attention and executive functioning challenges impact daily life, academic performance, and relationships. Early identification and diagnosis allow for personalized interventions, which can improve self-esteem, coping strategies, and overall quality of life across all age groups.

Counseling Intern Program

In order to serve clients who are not able to access commercial insurance due to financial hardship, documentation status, or other circumstances, we have created an avenue for trauma informed outpatient care through Safe Therapy's Counseling Intern Program. Master's level counseling students are trained in the most up-to-date modalities of trauma treatment and provided with close supervision and support throughout their educational journey. Access to trauma informed care is increased both through two pathways: to individual clients who work with our interns as well as by expanding the network of providers who are well versed in trauma treatment as they enter the field of counseling.
