She approaches each person with warmth and empathy, using a holistic, collaborative, and person-centered approach.

Vernell believes that culture and identity are central to who we are and how we experience the world. As a second generation West Indian American, she brings a culturally responsive lens to her work and is committed to honoring each client's unique background and intersecting identities. Vernell is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported in finding their path toward healing.
