My Story
Tuba is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey, with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Montclair State University. Tuba integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and person-centered techniques to support clients in their journey toward well-being.
Tuba works with individuals facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions, helping them develop the skills needed to cope and grow.
Through a collaborative approach, Tuba works alongside clients to explore alignment with their values and build a fulfilling life. By understanding each client’s unique worldview and core beliefs, Tuba helps clients gain insight into how these shape their experiences. Tuba is passionate about helping clients work through these issues and achieve their goals toward a more fulfilling life. In a supportive, non-judgmental space, clients can connect with their strengths and set goals that resonate deeply. Together, they work to foster clarity, self-acceptance, and lasting personal growth. EMDR trained and in the process of EMDR certification.
