My Story
Sara Duricko is a first generation student currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health at Montclair State University. Sara also received her Bachelors in Psychology with minors in Criminal Justice and Environmental Justice from Montclair State University. During her undergraduate years when she worked in the Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships, Sara realized that she wanted to pursue a career in which she could continue to serve local communities and work within the mental health sector. This has driven Sara's clinical approach to be focused around social justice and intersectionality, while utilizing Client-Centered, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. Sara seeks to foster a warm and welcoming space that allows clients to feel supported, heard and understood as she helps them navigate meaningful change and self-reflection.
