My Story
Fernanda holds a master’s degree in psychology in Brazil, and having recently moved to the US, is now earning her master's in counseling in New Jersey at the University of the Cumberlands. She has dedicated more than fifteen years to supporting individuals and communities through psychotherapy, both in private practice and community-based programs in Fortaleza, Brazil. Known for combining deep clinical expertise with a compassionate presence, Fernanda creates a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. She is passionate about guiding personal transformation and helping people find balance during life’s challenging transitions. Her work is grounded in a person-centered approach, while thoughtfully integrating techniques from logotherapy, REBT, and mindfulness.
Throughout her career, she has accompanied clients through life’s most challenging transitions, witnessing stories of struggle unfolding into renewed beginnings. With empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a gift for perceiving light even in difficult times, Fernanda walks alongside her clients with patience and care—fostering clarity, insight, and resilience until a new season emerges
